With my on call schedule its difficult planning time off. With enough notice l could probably go further if finances supported it and had the time.

The farther north, the more likely we'd get to see the 10 meter complete rebuild.... Yes Todd -- I'm calling you out!

I don't frequent a lot of other marinas, so I can't really recommend one. But if a raft up is in order, I recommend Sue Creek in Middle River. No decent (public) marina in the creek, but you can skim wifi from the Baltimore Yacht Club, they have good fuel prices, and the Sue Island Crab House is reasonable. Not included in my reasons is that it is close to me. I'd make that up to my compatriots by supplying a lot of beer.....

I'm always interested in going to these but can never make it. Work, family or weather always seem to affect my boating plans.

We would certainly like to meet some of the folks that are on the forum. Anywhere from Point Lookout up the bay is good for us, though we are just south of Annapolis and closer is better!

Ain't the fuel Paul my boat is landlocked. sure enough Texoma is on the Red River and it goes all the way to the gulf, however I have two obstacles a great big dam and locks stop near Shreveport LA about 200 mile down river. :( I would have to start now to get there if I could by boat. Although could have boat hauled to Shreveport and put in there then a long long trip. If I went that far would just do the great loop.

The upper bay would work for us as long as it is at a marina. My little porta-potti doesn't make anchoring out feasible.

Upper bay most likely would be to far for me . But if one was too happen it should be where most could make it . While I like to anchor out at times , I would not consider going to something like a rendezvous unless it was at a marina . There is more to do , people can come by land . Not climbing all over other boats to get to another shore power and so forth .

Herring-ton Harbor South would be a decent Compromise for all parties. It is a really cool marina with a huge pool, tiki bar and plenty of space for cocktail hour. I am sure they have a few grills for a cook out. Have not been there since 2010, this would give me a good excuse to go there.

What do you guys think?

Herring-ton Harbor South would be a decent Compromise for all parties.
Tilghman Island and St. Michaels are on the other side of the Bay from Herrington Harbor and would be better for us.

Herrington Harbor South and North are in Herron Bay, the only no discharge zone on the bay. We have a type 1 MSD and would have to lock off the head while there. We would most likely not bring the boat into Herron Bay, though our slip is only 30 minutes away by car and we would certainly visit.
