Mounting Radar on Tri Cabin

Hi, I'm mounting a new Raymarine 4Kw on my Tri Cabin. I don't have a radar arch and I'm not sold on how some of them look on Tri Cabins. Does anyone have ideas on where else I could mount it. I'm thinking of either a mast or arch, any good pictures or ideas. Thanks

Hi Tri-Guy,
Mine is mounted on a mast. you can see it here:

Look @ time 1:00 - 1:05. You will se the mast and the baseplate. Mine is on a tri-cabin flybridge though. it uses a sleeve design so that it can be put down for the winter.
Hope this helps a bit.

I bought an aluminum radar arch that is exactly the width of my 84 tri-cab deck area. It is an aluminum curved aerodynamic looking affair. Don't remember what boat it came off of. It will mount at the rear of the passenger/bridge area and I believe it will look good. I lucked out and got it for $300 off ebay. Wish I had it mounded would show the pics. But anyway think it will look good on my style of tri-cab. Good luck.

I think a aluminum radar arch looks good on a tri-cabin .Its also a great place to mount antennas or mast head light . A hard top also s a good place . But these can be pricey .A pole will work just fine

Hi I have a 7.5 edson Mast mount and radar platform Id sell you. PM me pls. I am choosing to mount it on the front of the flybridge because I live aboard and rarely use radar. I have an overhead tarp and am sick of lowering it.
