I have looked at a couple of these boats that you have listed.
One needs a rear deck.

Bob, here is one that is owned by a yacht club member of ours. He's high on the list price and it is very clean but still, it's a buyers market right now...Heck, mine could be for sale if the price was right.

you should have a ton of options and I wouldn't limit your search geographically. There are some great deals out there but the real deals are in the nicer (higher priced) boats . Be careful limitting your budget... parts and repair pricing is not depressed- only boat prices are. Buy as good a boat as you can afford with the least amount of work... thats where the value is now.

If you don't mind my asking, do you have a budget in mind? That 1990 posted above looks real nice and power is really fresh. It's sad that 59K seems high for that much boat but that's the market we're in. Mine is a twin diesel and pretty much all redone and I doubt I'd get anywhere near that in this market.

I have a friend that purchased a 78 F32 for 18,500 that's in real nice shape.
Granted it needs a little elbow grease, but structure wise it's in good shape.
I don't mind doing a little fixing up I just don't want to get in to replacing wood or fiberglass.

Also, get familiar with the different model year 32s. The hulls are all the same throughout but there were changes such as mechanical to hydraulic steering, helm changes, window in hull changes, head vanity changes. Later models were offered without a lower helm, extra fuel tanks and very early models had only one deck hatch up front, etc.

Regardless, they are all great boats!

There are 78 listings for 32ft Trojans between the years 1973 and 1985 for sale at http://www.boats.com right now. Mostly gas powered but there are a few diesels out there for a lot more money. The prices are all over the place. ENJOY, I do.
