Hi all. A question for you gas burners 454-350HP with 11 meter express cruisers, What size props are you running?

I will be at the boat tomorrow for the final buff and wax before the plunge. I know I have 4 blade props, but unsure of the pitch. I can measure the Diameter if you need it.

Why the question? I have the same setup as you, so i imagine they should be the same unless someone of course changed them. Stay tuned.

Just remember no 2 boats are the same . How you load them can have a effect on the exact prop size pitch needed . while the factory size will be close as we add our toys and gear (and the boat ages ) some times and change in pitch is needed .

Just food for thought

I know mine are 23" dia X 24" pitch, 4 blade. She's loaded a bit heavy and the blue 454/359 engines are both under 500 hours. I found a submerged log the hard way in the river-in 35" of water- Hauling out next week to survey the damage. I know the props are bent. I was entertaining the notion of a prop adjustment as I'm not turning the rated WOT RPM's. I can get 4000 on a good day. In our water, there is no such thing as a clean bottom for more than a couple of weeks after pressure washing the bottom. I'm usually a slow cruiser, about hull speed, 10 knots @ 2350 RPM.

I would appreciate knowing what dia and pitch you are running as well as you WOT.

I fully agree! It's just expensive to experiment to fine tune the props. Just hoping to make an informed decision to get close in one shot.

Ok, mine are 24 RH 24. And probably propped a bit high. Given the engine hrs, and having a struggle to get on plane, I probably could drop to 23" units. However, I rarely run on plane. 90% of the time I am fishing or just cruising at hull speed so it is not really an issue for me.
