Hello I am new to the board. Recently I have purchased a generator for my 1991 11 meter express. The original owner never ordered the boat with one. Anyway I'm in need of pictures anyone may have of the mounts. Im not sure if they mounted to the stringer or to the side of the Waste tank. FYI the generator is an exact replacement Onan 7 kw. Thanks

I can't help you since I own one of the Carver/Trojan eleven meter express units (1994) and the generator is probably mounted in a different location. But I'm sure others will get back to you. Best of luck.

I have an 88 11 meter express, and will try to get you some pictures tomorrow. If memory serves me correctly, mine sits in an aluminum drip pan that is bolted to the stringers right above the holding tank.

Welcome to the site . Wish I could help but my boat is a F36 .

This is on my 1988 12 meter convertible. It is not the original generator, but as Jimmy said, the aluminum frame between the stringers is original. Mine sits above the holding tank.

Sorry, had to leave town, ill be at the boat again tomorrow and will get you some detailed photos.

As suspected, the aluminum pan the genset sits on is mounted to the stringers. See photos. Hope this helps
