Just bought a F32 and was wondering what the switch labeled Emergency Start did. I have no manual and am scared to push it. What does it do over the normal start buttons?

I think that will let you use the battery from one engine to other, incase
one battery is weak and does not have enough power.

Thx willie, kinda what I thought it did. Simular if I turned the battery switches to combine all banks.

Hello, I also just bought a 79 F-32. Willie is right on the start its just like putting jumper cables on from one battery to the other.
Good Luck,
Butch

Just a thought... The switch doesn't do anything if the solenoid that it's connected to is bad.

Thx for the replies guys. It's kinda what I figured the switch to do. Haven't tried it yet but by the sounds of it should test it to make sure the solenoid it working before needing it!!! Luckly I do have a house bank of batteries!
