Engine not starting after sitting

Hey all,
So I have 1976 f-32 with Chrysler 318's. So a little over a month ago, my engine was running a little rough at idle. I went out for a short ride and didn't have any problems. I went back to the boat yesterday ( a month later) and now the STBD engine will not start. It cranks and will fire up on starting fluid but doesn't run. I am thinking that there is a fuel supply issue. I am thinking that it might be the fuel pump.
The fuel is only 2 months old. I put in new fuel filter 3 months ago and have only run about 10 gallons of fuel through it.
I appreciate any thoughts or suggestion on the issue and how to resolve.

I'm not an expert by any means, but my most recent fuel issue ended up being the Anti Siphon Valve. There is a ton of post on the forum about it. I would check that first, since it's the least expensive part to replace. It should be located at the top of the gas tank where the gas line comes out.

It's simply a check valve with a spring and little ball in it. It prevents gas from flowing out of the tank into the bilge or sea, if god forbid there is an accident where a line is cut.

Search the forum for Anti siphon valve or maybe someone else will link a post about it...

Above is an exploded view picture of the anti siphon valve most of our Trojans have, in the article two sources one for exact replacement and another brand that will thread right in.

I took mine out as a test and engines ran fine, put new ones in solved. I did not see anything that caused the valve to malfunction. Cleaned it in carb cleaner put in new nitrile o-ring to use as a backup. Note the AS valve comes with a Vitron or Nitrile o-ring and both are good for gasoline and gasoline alcohol blends. The part number on the valve is fore the Vitron 0-ring.

I am going to check that out. I just figured that if the engine fired up on starting fluid it should had have created enough of a vacuum to draw some gas to the engine. But I guess if the valve is stuck closed it won't. Thanks for the help. I will check it tomorrow when I am at the boat.
