If you find that when starting one engine the other engine cranks over this diode will fix the problem. When engine start switch is in the momentary position the rectifier (diode) will close the Battery paralleling solenoid which automatically applies the maximum battery power to the starter. This is a Trojan unique problem. It is located under the dash.
