Hi Guys Sorry for the late reply. I know how my poor F32 feels as I also had to get some bad stuff cut out of me and just got home after three weeks in human dry dock (HOSPITAL) lol. Ready to start again on my project. The hatches that you see are two years old and I'm changing them again. Bought Ji...

I'm pleased that I read this thread. I was also going to use VELCRO but now I am going to leave it alone. I just had mine remade last summer. Yes it has a 45 degree were the bottom and back are fastened together. Mine had snaps to hold the back up that looked like they pulled out so then someone tri...

Re-model Helm F32

http://i257.photobucket.com/albums/hh233/everusphotos/helmpaint.jpg Fly helm had seat looking to aft. Wife wanted to add seat and look forward. More pics coming. Cut off seat...epoxy and ply worked well. Put in four round 6" hatches in front so it will be easier putting helm back on. Three teak...

I also have four tanks in my 73 F32. Mine are original and NO leaks at all! They are all hot dipped galvanized. I spoke to a long time marine surveyor who told me that HE has never seen a leak in 73-74 Trojan F32 HOT DIPPED tanks. A bud of mine has a 1978 F32 and the tanks ARE NOT the same as mine a...

Hey Willie I'm still working on my baby and I am taking your advice for re-powering. I also found mush in the same spots. It is an easy fix with hours and hours of sanding. I also found some bad stuff by the front windows. I used a moisture meter and then drilled to find the soft stuff. I used corce...

Well it looks as if I am out of luck finding the Trojan headliner. If I can't get an answer here, I guess it is not available. The only headliner I can find has the larger perferation holes and is white rather than off white. Does anyone out there know where I can find an off white headliner that is...

Does anyone out there now where I can get the original headliner material that Trojan used in there early F32s? I think they used it on all their models but I'm not sure.

I have listened and learned! However I still like the idea of going smelly if it can be done at the right price. WHO KNOWS? Would these puppies fit in an F32? It's a pair of cummins diesel engines V8 with borg warner 1.9 : 1 hydrolics transmissions both engines rebuilded by cummins 1992 and there ar...

Re-Powering an 1973 F32--Diesel or Gas?????

 :?: I purchased an F32 this spring and blew an engine two weeks ago. I have plans to redo this sweetheart from stem to stern and now I'm looking at re-powering instead of rebuilding the S engine. The motors are Merc Ford 302's and handled great for most of the summer. To those captains who h...
