what model f30 do you have ?

16000 lbs with gas engines from the factory I heard thats low same info puts yours at 12000 . so the anser is 4000 lbs more that your boat
now who has more junk on there boat ? I bet I realy start getting heavier then

Ross to get 80 more hp you need to go with a salt water after cooler also . but for the engine to stand up you need to do internal changes like pistons valve rotators etc. there was a post on boatdiesel about doing this on a 210?? bosh inline pump 27.6 knots levers to the stops full on fuel and water
same when low no difrenct. but let a few things grow on the bottom she slows down

Ross look at the specs on boatdiesel 210 at 2800 a 215 at 2400
a 355 at 2600 375 at 2800 etc crazy ! he needs to look at the eng plate

Ross got the 2800 rpm off f32s 3rd post maybe he can tell us if this is the rated rpm ( you may be correct ) I may go to http://www.boatdiesel.com to check

Ross did you mean to do the prop cal. at 2500 ? I belive the rated rpm is 2800 ( not max) corect me if I am wrong

diesels the only way to go on anything over 30 foot

you have a bad balast restor (90%) or switch (10%) that would be my guess

trojanboats.net has them (becon marine )

have had nothing but proplems with Bosh platinums in any enging
they carbon foul easly cars trucks or boats people put them in and then they come to to see me to get there engine runing right replace the bosch and there good to go ! ( maybe ok for vw and stuff)

Bosh platium good for sinkers not any engine I would own . got a ford engine use autolite or motocraft . Gm use A.C. crysler use champ.
over 30 years working on engines I found this is the best bet
