F31 salon windows (and yet another Outta control question)
Can you guys tell Im working on my boat??????LOL
my salon windows (cabin windows, port and starboard) had some ugly window film on them when I bought her. I was able to remove almost all of it, but there is a section that the two windows overlap in the center
is there any way to remove these windows,, I really didnt give it a good look, but you guys seem to know most everything there is to know about these rigs,
also the paintwork on the inside of these windows is UGLY,,, I would love to clean, scrap paint etc,,
Im not really concerned with a little water leakage etc, as she is an oldy but goody,
I figure there must be a way to remove the windows, as someone was able to get that window film on there,,, so in the famous words of alot of repair manuals Ive read,,installation is reverse of removal? right?

if you remove the teak trim around the window you can then remove the screws that hold the black slide track and the glass will come out with the track . be careful and hold on to the glass when removing .another pair of hands would help. i took mine out a few years ago to replace the bottom slide tracks with stainless steel and also changed the felt weather stripping.

had an 8' dinghy 1sts then needed something a little bigger so i picked up the 12'.
