IDA watered the lawn (Winter Rye just in), and heading north Outer Banks and Virginia ...

Local weather just said we could get 12 inches of rain out of this thing

this is when it sucks being 60 miles from the boat, going up and checking on it every day during this kind of stuff..makes me wish I pulled it out on hard. but then those 70 degree days in Dec. change my mind.
the wind is blown at 40 mph in VA.Bch. and this thing is going to hang on us until Saturday morning and tonight is going to be the worst

Cool and cloudy after its passing - about 59 degrees and wet.

Should clear & warm by weekend.

wow! just watching the weather channel and you guys on the east coast are getting HAMMERED! storm surge must wreak havoc on the piers. if my boat was in the water there i would be a fuzz nervous to say the least!
life is tough! it's even tougher if your stupid.

These pictures are at Bay Point Marina in Norfolk, VA at about 2:00 pm 11/12/09. High tide isn't expected till around 4 or 5. Doesn't look good. The gang plank is an up hill climb to get to the floating dock. Side walk and bulkheard are just under water. There was just over 3 feet of piling left before the docks float off of them and all the boats become property of the navy across the creek. I'm praying that that doesn't happen...

I saw a lot of damaged canvas and sails.

We're only seeing 20 to 30 mph winds where I'm at. I do have 3 of my drivers that they won't let cross the Chesapeake Bay Bridge do to being empty and wind restictions

Winds 48 with gusts at 62 right now in hampton and at the CBBT gusts up to 70 . I sure don't want to b driving acroos right now




up date gusts up to 75 now CBBT only 64 here

Watch out Will is coming your way . you may get some very high tides .Ours are near Isabel levels (5'+ over normal high tides ) they say the high tide will go up the bay .
