like snowmobiling with a boat! wow, that is hardcore! how's the salmon fishing up there in gods country?

This time of year it is pretty dead. There are some commercial fishermen out there going after Winter kings but it doesn't pick up for us until Spring. We got our boat late last season so we only managed to get a couple on board, but we are ready for this year's salmon derby in May!

i would love to get up there and tie into one of them monster kings! a big one out of lake michigan lately is 30 pounds. i guess it beats fishing inland lakes. a friend of mine lives up there and runs a lodge i believe in soldotna but i can't remember off hand.

I caught this monster catfish 16lbs last year. I was on the St. Johns River.
