If you fish in salt water or the fish you catch can . you need to sign up
some states are exempt with the right license . if you have a tuna permit your OK But every else on your boat must resister Its free this year but the tax opps I mean the fees starts in 2011

Thus Vermont would become the first state to require a permit for the luxury of going about unarmed and assess a fee of $500 for the privilege of not owning a gun!
