I have twin Merc 255s which I understand is the Ford 351. My old ones looked nothing like that and I replaced both of them with the new design recently because one of them failed. The new design doesn't look like that either.

I'm not sure that's what I have on my ford 351w, I wanted to rebuild it but it`s in bad shape so I can not. I thought if someone had a extra one I could rebuild it.

I may still have the old one that was still working when I replaced it. I am aboard SeaDog right now and will check when I get back. You are welcome to it if I do. I replaced it as a precaution since the other one failed and I wanted them to both be the same age. Easier for a guy my age to remember that way.

I spoke to my mechanic that replaced it and he said he thought he still had it. I will be at his shop at the boat yard later today and if it is there I will pick it up, take pictures, and post them for you.

Rodman, does this mean you are landlocked this weekend. I was thinking of heading down to Silver Glenn springs. Too rough to go offshore and dive so I am river bound this w/e. Call me , will ya?
