I actually contacted the owner of this boat. I had a project in Greenwich and wanted to go take a look at it. The boat was listed for $1,500.00 at that time. I asked about the structure of the boat, stringers and transom. He told me the boat was really only good for the motors and parts. Never did get to go check her out, but the price is enticing if it does run and float.

If it were here in nc I'd go get it just for the engines and other spare parts I could use.

Probably a scam - lots of them around these days. Craigslist seems to attract a lot of them.

mine is on craigslist and all i can seem to get is hull kickers. had one dude go as far as telling me he was sending a down payment because he really wanted it. 3 weeks later...no money (also no surprise). getting real sick of the run around with craigslist. after you put up with the first round of scammers then you get to deal with the hull kickers! i have money down on my new boat but can't pick it up until the old one sells (war department said so).

I will say, in my very short correspondence with the seller of that boat, it definately did not seem like a scam. Sounds like a decent running boat in need of a LOT of work.
