lol, i saw that diagram yesturday. i did mark which starter goes to which engine. that is why 1 is blue and 1 is grey. what confused me was i thought i wrote down some where before i pulled the old engines that when they where running that they turned in towards each other. i cant find that paper now. in the diagram the engines turn outward away from each other. maybe im just remembering it wrong. all ive been told is the stnd rot engine is portside the rev rot engine is stbd side. im going with that. its a cw stater im ordering. thanks.

i realised today that the rot is away from each other. like the diagrams. that settles it. I dropped that starter off to be rebuilt. it will be the same as a new one without having to pay for shipping.

I ordered a complete set of manifolds/risers/gaskets from them. Shipping is cheap, the owner is a very nice guy, and turnaround was very quick.
