hey CP.... i was looking at your fly bridge again and was wondering what happened to the gel coat. did it deteriorate over time? there are a few 'bald' areas on my cabin top too. is it a flaw in the original finishing process?

Hey Aaron. The gel? It got old and sunburnt! :D

There is life underneath there. Gotta get all the chalk and crap off first though.

I'll get you some better pics.

Its not bad gel work from the factory. Its 30+ yrs of sun.

I justgot in from a 12 hr cruise. Ran the gen the whole time. Cooked a chicken and brewed a batch of ale in the process.

Yeh. Not me. Thats my pal Andy. Guess he didn't work on too many VW's over the winter. Work must have been slow. Looks like he might have eaten one though. :shock:

Oh, and I'm not stalking you Paul. There are plenty of pics of you circulating in PM's around here. Have you seen the one with the bullseye on your butt yet? :wink:
