The best I have found is life caulk. I have used it in bedding rail stantions, fittings and gunnale. Even Walmart sells it in out location.

I put two new todd chairs topside on my f32 this Spring--always have used life chaulk--put in the screw holes, around the screw before drilling, and around the edges of the base before and after I put it down--let it set up for a while and cleaned all

Don't ever use 5200 unless your plan is to NEVER having to remove it.

I fully agree with Stripermann. 5200 is great, and you could probably use the stuff to mount your engines, but if you ever need to remove it, youll need a torch, jackhammer and grinder.
