A few people around me have installed the Garmin units and are happy with them as are the ones with the raymarine ones . I have used the Raymarine ones and they work very well .Most Power boat units are set up for hydraulic steering . Not sure if you have hydraulic steering or not . ( some F32s did not ) . If you don't there are still opptons as many sail boats do not .yet use auto pilot .

For best performance, you will probably want to upgrade to hydraulic steering first and then add your AP. When you do, look at SIMRAD and never look back... Most of the fishing charters on my pier are ditching the Rays and the Garmins for SIMRAD.

Regardless who you go with for your AP, especially if you are fishing, take a step back and look at your entire electronics package and stick to one brand so everything works nicely together.

I agree on up grading to hydraulic steering . Also nice to have the auto and the gps the same . But I would lean more to Garmin as its more user friendly . But Support means a lot too and Garmin is great on line/phone ( as is Furnno ) Sitex is very poor and I belive the share with Simarad . Of course the local service folks can make or break a good system if your not hands on .

Funny, I have had the poorest customer service through Garmin and outstanding through SIMRAD which is why I made the switch.
