It looks like the boat is "hanging" in the air with no keel blocking. Is that the case?
I would also suggest an extra set of poppets around midships in case either end had an issue (and some keel blocking midships as welll).

Thanks Bob! There is keel blocking midship, 85 just hidden behind that engine hatch that's propped up in the picture. It's midship, right below where the hatch is in front of the fresh water tanks...behind the forward bilge drain.
Do you think it needs more than that?

They block my 41 in 3 places under the keel with about 4' long timbers in each spot. Also on the ground you might want to put some plywood under the jack stands (can't tell if there is any in the photos). There was a boat here that went over when the jack stand sank into the ground after a very heavy rain.

The ground is packed gravel with some obvious grass over growth. There are 2x6s placed on the ground under all blocking and stands.

The yard where the boat went over was also packed gravel and is used as a commercial boat storage yard. They said that it had never happened before, but stuff happens. Just something to consider.

I think there should also be a block in the center of the boat near the stern. The main support for the boat should be along the keel, probably three places for a boat of your size.
The outside edges should be supported with something other than hollow blocks, which have cracked in some cases, leaving the boat lying on the ground. Adjustable stands like you have amidships would be my first choice, though with lumber underneath to increase the footprint and decrease the psi on the ground. That way, you can easily adjust them to account for settling as the ground goes through freeze/thaw cycles.
Yeah, I would definitely block at 3 places on the keel and use 3 sets of stands. Especially since it'll be sitting like that for a bit while you're doing the engine work.
The teardown of the motors have progressed. I'm at the point where i need to decide what I am going to do with them. I'm looking for some advice from you guys.
1. Rebuild what I have.
2. Buy long blocks and call it a day.
The debate is the never ending debate of cost. By the time I'm done, the cost to rebuild will be around the same as a couple of long blocks. Is it better to have "new" long blocks or rebuilt crusaders?
Anyone have any recommendations on long blocks?
Can i upgrade from a Gen IV 454 with the two piece rear main seal to a Gen V? Any advice is appreciated!

I believe you will need to change the flywheel and balancer . Different oil pan . Do the make a reverse turn gen IV? ( yellow rear seal tells me its reverse turn ) not sure what else .

The Gen V would have the one piece seal, a different shaft flywheel flange, rear main bearing cap, and oil pan. I guess it requires a counter weighted flywheel or flexplate from what i was reading.
It may not be worth my time considering them, I was just curious if anyone else has. Thanks Prowler.

I was getting IV and V backwards . 2 other things no place to put a fuel pump you will have to go electric and new valve covers . The newer block also has threaded holes for a oil cooler , so you will have to deal with that . I found conflicting info on oil pans .
How do your blocks look ? I have found in many cases the blocks do not need boring on marine engines due to wear . We just don.t put the hours on them . But the flip side , is water damage and rust in the cylinders

I don't see any rust in the cylynders themselves, only in the cooling passages. I'm hoping I can get someone to come over and give me a second set of eyes.
I did read about the fuel pump. Thanks for the info about the valve covers and oil cooler.
