Yep. If you do a search, you'll find topics on this subject.
I almost went with them but ended up with a platform off an F36, which I need to install...one day.

Its coming along but far from being ready to reseal.foofer b wrote:Oh and the method I found that worked the best was to use a paint roller and a 4" brush to slop on the stripper and a nylon scrub brush to get the varnish off. Let it sit a while after rolling/brushing and then scrub.

Hand sanding with 100grit. Then I have 150 and 220 , No its not a lot just some imperfections so I am sanding them out. I may remove ( know I will ) remove all those ugly screws and fill the holes with dust from sanding and redo them right. It`s a shame someone dumb azz put all those in there. I did not think that they looked like they belong in there.foofer b wrote:It does look like someone put some screws into your platform. Mine was only screwed ( bolted actually) horizontally. What are you sanding with, a belt sander? It looks like you are taking a lot off.

I had a bad experience last summer with PlasTeak. I ordered some 1" x 2.5" x 6' PlastTeak lumber, and they sent it rolled up. I had to take it out and set it in the sun with a reverse bend and weights for 3 days to get it flat enough to work with. It did work, but doesnt really look like teak. We'll see how it holds up to UV over time.
I called them, and the owner told me too bad - they send all of their lumber out rolled up, and wouldn't do anything about it even though I requested (demanded in the end) flat lumber (I was paying for shipping anyway). All to no avail - and they never followed up ...
Shortly thereafter, I saw that a US jury has ruled in favor of Flexiteek, in its patent infringement against PlasTEAK and PlasDECK, so I guess they had bigger problems ...
