Plug location
There should be a drain plug in the front, under the V-berth. If you boat is on the hard, and the bow is lower, it will drain most of the water. You may have to make sure that it doesn't get plugged with the "sludge".

air horn option
My previous boat had a great air horn with air pig set up- it worked well. I simply recharged the storage tank occasionally - this worked well. This does away with having a dedicated compressor to recharge.
Raises another (survey) question- how often do you using the horn?

get the cushions
I agree- we have a 1975 F-25, same configuration. We have a two piece set-up that snaps in place. We sit there often, it is a great place to relax, or sit during a quiet cruise.

Nice Pictures
Wow, the Rideau looks great, we have done the Trent from Peterborough to Port Severn, and loved it. We are hoping to take a month next summer to cruise- we were thinking of heading back to the Trent, but it looks like we should add the Rideau to the list.

Welcome
Glad to hear you made it- and enjoyed the trip!
My maiden voyage was 2 weeks long, and I loved every minute of it. A great way to get to know the boat.

Thanks David, When I looked at the bearing, behind the flange for the pulley, I couldn't see a c clip or a groove for it. It would make sense that there should be one so I'll look again before putting it in the press. Does this help? http://www.sherwoodpumps.com/FileAttachments/Marine-Distribution/...

send some our way
I am on Lake Ontario, and the water level is extremely low. They are going to lower the dock to compensate. I hope your Trojan is secure in the flood.

In the water
I launched yesterday-(Lake Ontario- seems early-but glad for it). After some minor adjustments she is running great. I am taking some time today to get the interior ship shape- putting cushions back... etc....
Feels great- plan on having supper aboard if the weather holds.

Captainmaniac- I have a slip at the mouth of the Niagara River. A great spot. Paul- I guess I want the piece of mind that the filter will catch any stuff that might go through the system. When I replaced the impeller in my pump I noticed that one of the fins had a tear in it- I assumed that somethin...

fresh water intake filter question
I am looking at installing a filter on the cooling intake line. It has a clear removable lid, neoprene gasket, input and output lines. Should I install it above or below the water line? Does anyone have one of these, and can you make recommendations as to how it should be installed.
Thanks

Help needed: Sherwood Pump Impeller questions
I have a 1975 318 and this is the water pump- I want to replace the impeller, and keep a spare on hand. I don't see a model number. Are there different versions of this pump out there- or is there one standard impeller. Where could I get this impeller at a reasonable price? Thanks. http://i920.photo...

Beam on F25
What is the beam on the F25 ( I need this for the marina and thought it would save me a trip to the boat with a measuring tape)
Does anyone have this info at hand.

ready123 is right, this is a factory original. It is a seat and the hatch is part of the bench. I have newly upholstered cushions that snap in place. This is a great place to sit at anchor or when cruising slowly. Check in the album I posted above, I have added some pictures of the bow area. I will ...

F25 Roll Call
Larry mentioned in a post that he was curious about other 25 owners on the forum. I bought mine last year and loved it, can't wait for the ice to melt so we can start the new season. Here are a couple of pics from our maiden cruise last summer. http://s920.photobucket.com/albums/ad48/boaterguy/ Any ...
