drain plugs

Post by bkwesq »

Does anyone know how many drain plugs the 1976 F25 has? I see one in the aft section by the tank but I have to think there are others. The bilge is full of sludge and I need get it cleaned it smells so bad i can smell it from inside my house!

Plug location

There should be a drain plug in the front, under the V-berth. If you boat is on the hard, and the bow is lower, it will drain most of the water. You may have to make sure that it doesn't get plugged with the "sludge".

I got the owners manual and I see there is drain by the keel. I have to rip out the carpet to get to it - why would they do that?!?
