We do not allow bananas on our fishing boat either. Most fishermen believe them to be bad luck.. Personally i suspect it has more to do with the peels being slippery if carelessly dropped on the deck. Larry. By the way great looking boat, how long is it?

boater of the year

My Vote is for Big D, Because He Is!! Seriously because he is extremely knowledgeable and always willing to share his experiances. Big D is more often armed with facts instead of just opinions. Larry

Nah Larry it's me that Capt' Ross is raggin; I have an F36 with BB Chryslers that I have had some issues with in the past. Now that I think I am about to get everything working he thought I should buy this boat and swap the engines, etc. I must admit it was VERY tempting. I can't believe it went so ...

Thanx Paul, I couldn't understand the 19x15 either. The prop shop i talked with didn't really want to take more than 2 in of pitch out of my 20's. I have located a pair of nibral 20x19 four blade props but I don't think there is enough difference there. Something will turn up I'am sure. Don't you th...

Well I finally was able to get Capt Ross out of his lazy-boy and onto my boat the Plan Sea. As some of you will remember, I've had lots of issues with power verses speed etc. I had both carbs re-built and jets and rods changed, had the bottom scraped and cleaned, and I needed Ross on board just inca...

Hey Ross here I am trying to get from "boat Mechanic" to Boat Captian and you're not helping! Walter you probably have a Sherwood D 50 water pump. As you said one side pumps raw water and the other side pumps cooling water. IMO a poor system at best. The raw water side has a slightly large...
