Change It !!
Just replaced the cutlass in my 30" with the help of the forum.
Very easyily done with the strut removed. What A difference! Also had about an 1/8" wear.

The treaded rod example looks goood as I do not have a press, the 400deg F temp is for the strut not the bearing which will probably be around 200 deg F by the time I get the bearing in and soak by blistered hands in " Burn be Gone " cream !!!!!

Actually the Chrysler is a 1976 400 B series motor, 300 hp stock, block casting # 3698-630 Prowler, I think I will run the 12 pitch for awhile, just to see what kinda fuel economy I get.
