Checked out the valve covers they have 4 bolts holding them to the head.

Please help me id these engines. They are pcm mercruisers 5.7lt v8 On the tag behind the cylinder head it has PCM 293748, PLH 000, V05099AN, stamped on top of the inlet manifold is GM 14086244. I think they could be 1986-1990 454cid's but I'm not sure. They are out of my newly purchased 1974 Trojan ...
