Re: Looking for radar arch

Not sure, if you are still looking. But, I took one off of my '86, 10 meter about a year ago. Still sitting in my storage unit.
You are welcome to it for free. I am in San Jose.
You can email me at vicg@besteleco, if you are still in the market.

Reduction ratio

Can anyone tell me what the standard transmission ratio would have been for a box, behind a 350 HP/454 cu in Crusader in a 1986, mid cabin International?
Thanks

Long story. Well Pesctore was looking good the day, after the wave hit. She is berthed in the upper harbor, which took the brunt of the force of the waves - pretty sure that there were about 11 waves with the highest being 8'. The upper harbor is narrower, than the outer harbor and as the wave progr...

Spray Rails, etc

A few months ago some of you folks were very helpful in providing me with the knowledge needed to modify my 10 meter-mid cabin to perform better. My concern had to do with the fact that, when running into a quatering sea, I was getting a lot of spray on the windshield. Some of you had said that spra...

Seems like your experiences are somewhat similar to mine, except for the fact that at about 2,850 RPM's my speed is only about 14 MPH - not knots. In today's world of +4 buck gas, you probably should not get Flo-Scans. It would probably cause you to question taking your boat out of the slip to see t...

No doubt a revolutionary design.
Still puzzles me, why that more builders do not use this bottom today?

Windshield

OK, now that you guys have been so helpful in regard to my spray problems, I have another question. Just talked to the yard guy, Ross, who will be workign on my boat in a couple of weeks. He is having a hard time finding new rubber seals/moldings for the windshield of my boat - again, Pescatore is a...

I have played with the tabs over the years. She seems to like full tab at about 2,850 R's - definitely planeing and the fuel consumption is reasonable. But, the GPS says that we are only traveling at about 14 mph. Actually, I have found that, if you divide the RPM's by 200 that you invariably arrive...

No, I have Bennet adjustable tabs. I have tried them in every position from fully deployed to completely turned off and the spray problem persists. There really does not seem to be any difference in the amount of spray, with the AP on or off. Although, I tend to leave it on a lot, when I am heading ...

Really beginning to wonder, if there is some other problem, besides that fact that I have a mid cabin w/more severe prop angles. Your big block performance was 15% better, than I am experiencing. What do you think about my prop size and pitch? I rarely take it up to WOP. But, I am pretty sure that t...
