Re: LISTING TO STARBOARD
My 11 Meter Sedan also does this. I've always assumed it was because the lower helm station and 2 air conditioners are located on the starboard side of the boat without any significant offsetting weight on the port. Also, all the wiring and cabling going from the lower helm and the engine room to th...

Re: Crusader 454 needs priming to get it started
I rebuilt my quadrajets this past winter. The rubber skirts were totally broken off of each accelerator pump. Even though I am supposedly getting only ethanol free fuel I have to suspect the E10. Regardless, no accelerator pump makes a cold start much more difficult.

Re: 1987 Trojan 10.8 Meter Hull Blisters
I've had my 1985 11 Meter for 20 years. Every time I've had it hauled for a bottom job there have been lots of lumps on the bottom. I suppose they are blisters but each time I ask the service manager if they are a serious problem he says they have examined them and "not to worry about it" ...

Re: 11 Meter wiper blades
Thanks guys. Those are close, but the OEM items have a bracket attached to the middle of the blade and the mounting hole is 1/8" (or so) above the top of the blade. I'll have to look at it this weekend and see if the ones you found would work.
I appreciate the suggestions.

11 Meter wiper blades
Sorry, I'm not sure how to contact Beacon Bob directly. I've been looking for replacement 16" wiper blades (without any luck) for the 11 Meter Sedan. I think they are called classic style. They just have a screw eye to attach them to the wiper arm. Anyone have any ideas? Bob?

You might want to check this one out: http://www.hoytmeter.com/products/digital-meters/multifunction/12/d-ck920-panel-meter-detail It is a digital meter that will read out voltage, amps and frequency. Really lets you monitor a genset. It's been several years since I installed one. I don't remember h...

Re: 10 meter sedan help
About 20 years ago I bought a Bimini for my 11 Meter Sedan from Gioia Sails in New Jersey. At that time they had the pattern for it. They may have one for your boat. My boat lives under roof but 20 years later my top is still in good shape.

Re: International - instrument panel... Anyone have one?
I made a new panel for my 11 Meter using formica. The picture I have is too large to attach here but you could PM me with your email address and I could show you how it came out. I installed it about 6 years ago and I don't see any problems with it. Just used the old one as a pattern - in the places...

Re: Pink fluid in bilge under port engin 10 Meter
My port transmission also leaks. I have tried, unsuccessfully, to find the source. Finally put a diaper under it. Did go to a new dipstick, which cut it back some but still have fluid showing up. Hadn't thought about the hose fittings. I'll check that out.

Re: What type of oil should I use
I keep seeing Rotella on this forum, but when I went to buy it, I only saw Rotella for diesel engines. Are you guys using that? Or is there a Rotella specifically for gasoline engine use?

Re: 1986 Trojan 11M Interior Update
Particularly since my 11 Meter still has pink velour in it, I'm in awe. I've been stalled because I can't figure out how to get the (pink) upholstered panels below the salon windows off to re-do them.

Can you take a picture of the front of the control? I have a 1985 11 Meter. If the controls are the same I could look at mine and send you pictures, etc.

Re: 1987 11 Meter
We run our '85 11 Meter Sedan approx 100 hours per year on an Oklahoma lake. If we're in a hurry a 2800 rpm cruise gets us to 16 -17 mph and .45 mpg. We travel mostly at 6-8 mph and get roughly .75 mpg at those speeds. Since we rarely have to race home before a storm or meet some kind of tide change...

Re: Oil Cooler freeze damage repair
I was in the same boat, so to speak. I have successfully winterized my boat for the past 20 years but somehow missed those two drains on the oil coolers last fall. Pushed them apart as he describes. I replaced them both for roughly $270 ea.
I'm betting I won't forget them again.
