I can tell you from experience that getting the impellers back into the water pump housing is a lot easier if you use a bit of lithium grease on them! Hi all. I've had some luck removing the bolts along the side of my 318's oil pan in order to replace the gaskets. Hey Tad, Our Trojan was laid up for two years from the time it ran last while we refurbished it. The impellers became 'set' as they were left in the Sherwood water pump all this time.
