Re: Drive advice needed - Starboard Velvet Drive failed
I pulled one in my F32 in about an hour, cost $1,000 for a rebuild easy enough to put back in, myself and a friend lifted it with a rope around one end, just lugged it around and threw in the pickup truck

Re: ? Raw Water Cooling in the Salt ?
I have raw water cooled 318's in my F32 and run in salt, I don't flush them, just tie the boat off when im done and leave. Ive heard bad things converting a salt/raw cooled motor to fresh water cooled, building loosening up and clogging the system and so on, Im not about to reengineer the wheel.

Re: F32 cutless bearings

Re: F26 Performance
congrats on the extra speeds, I generally carry no water on my F32 and other boats except for extended stays at which the conclusion of i run the water tank dry, no need for extra weight and fuel burn cheers!

cheap and easy to replace, the one I did last year was the upper cable that feed the lower helm which in turn fed the transmission. Done in under a hour.

Parts F32
Where are the parts boats in New England? Myself and 3 other F32 owners are looking for a variety of parts. I located one the seller doesn't seem to want to agree on a price with me, I dont want the whole thing but was willing to pay for disposal of the hull but she isn't responding now.
