Found the plug! It seems that on these boats the drain plug is on the port bow right near the bottom. Weird, but if these boats are sitting level in dry dock the bow is actually lower than the stern, so I can see why they did it this way. Problem was the drain hole is painted same color as the hull ...

Thanks, I will take another look this weekend. Anyone else know anything about draining these boats. I have pumps but it needs to drain on its own over the winter.

Houseboat Drain Plugs

I recently acquired a 1971 34ft Trojan Houseboat. The bottom is full of water. Do these boats have drain plugs in the hull? I have looked but have not seen any plugs. It seems strange that there would not be a drain plug for the hull. Can anyone help me out?
