Come to think of it now, It didn't look factory. It was a different fitting and didn't have the plywood backing plate under it

Re: 1976 Trojan 36 Tri fly
Hi Dragon, I have a 1977 Tri Fly and there was a small holding 30Gal tank on it under the floor by the lower helm, starboard side.
The deck fitting was the forward most fitting, then water then 2 fuel fittings.

Re: Replacing salon glass
If it's the same as my 1977 Tri Fly, slide the glass to one end and look up top. Inside the "F" track there will be small screws holding in the "F" track and the front angle that makes up the top frame. (the frame is essentially a channel holing in the windows but the top channel...

It was nice meeting you Tdogg and mrs Tdogg and little dogg
Whether the transmissions help you out or not, I'm glad you have them
I've moved then a couple times and wasn't eager to do it again
Good luck

Hi Paul, is that a photo shopped picture of your idea, or another boat, either way that is super cool and a modern/functional way to hang canvas.
I wonder if that would work on a Tri Fly?????

Re: Project "Tri Fly"
Is that Headliner hard to install? It was for sure a challenge. I used vinyl instead of fabric for durability and ability to clean. It required a lot more tension and stretching, there are over 3000 staples in the ceiling. I will post some pictures when I get back to my work computer Monday, of the...

Re: Project "Tri Fly"
Thanks Misty, I hope you got to spend some time on the water this summer.
My wife and I put over 60 hours on our little jet boat, we went out just about every day with it
Only about 1 hour running the Trojan though

Re: Project "Tri Fly"
We sure have!
I've done a few circles with it in the river, just to understand how it handles. We haven't been out in the lake yet, I don't have all the gear installed yet so we stay VERY close to home

Re: Project "Tri Fly"
I'm baack! Ha Ha! I got a little bummed out when photo bucket stopped hosting pictures and couldn't go on :( But I've got over it. My wife and I have actually been living on the boat full time since we sold our house in July. In her words "it's like being on vacation all the time" I have a...
