Re: Exhaust Geometry
Unfortunately, I am always looking for many parts, so at least for the time being not selling any now. Sorry, after years I just decided to update my signature. Nothing with the Trojan Facebook page, just too much political and otherwise junk and adds, I am done with it. After seeing a couple post w...

Re: Exhaust Geometry
Sorry I forgot about that part, 1976 F32 Sedan. While I haven't done any actual waterline measurements, I am pretty sure that the inlet of the muffler was lower than the outlet, and everything that I have come across specifically shows the muffler being parallel with the waterline. There was / is a ...

Exhaust Geometry
Long before my ownership, the back deck had been removed, including the exhaust supports. It has been supported by plumber's strapping for quite a while. Although the elevation of various parts doesn't make sense in my head, inlet of muffler a little lower that the outlet type of thing. While I have...

Re: Thru Hull / Strut Backing Material
The one thing that comes to mind, is why has it always been Wood for 99% of the backing plate material? Regardless of brand of boat or what it is going through the hull, there is almost always a backing plate, especially if below the water line. Someone once told me it aids in keeping the item perpe...

Thru Hull / Strut Backing Material
Come to find out while replacing my Rudder Supports, the Backing material for my Struts is falling apart. The original is / was some type of Plywood. What is the best material to use for that now? I have a feeling that Treated Plywood might not be the best (could be wrong). I have seen people utiliz...

Re: Steering piston leaking
While I am not 100% sure that yours can, everyone that I have come across, we have been able to rebuild. If Beacon Marine doesn’t have a means to do it, I would contact a local reputable hydraulics place to do it if you don’t want to tackle it on your own. Ultimately they are pretty easy to rebuild....

Re: F32 Hollow Keel
That’s what I did, I see what everyone else had done although no one has said if, right in front of the engine compartment bulkhead is where the any water settles, but several have said, that was the most convenient centrally located location, which is why I am asking.

F32 Hollow Keel
I am planning on accessing the void on top of my keel. From everything that I have come across most people that install a bilge pump in there, do it just ahead of the engine compartment bulkhead. Is that the best location to get any accumulating of water out with a bilge pump? Normally any water set...
