Re: New (to me) 1974Trojan F30 Model 302
Hello Pat, Welcome to the forum. Congradulations on buying a Trojan. Yeah, look at anything that will sink, catch you on fire, or explode. Look over all your through hull fittings, hoses, clamps and strainers. If there are any issues with the components, replace them with new. Look at your fasteners...

St Michael's Maryland Family Fun F32~Liberty Call
I just wanted to share some good times we had at St Michael's last weekend. It is our favorite port of call. To me, it is a very beautiful relaxing port that offers all family members something to do. We always go to the Harbor inn on the left. We grew fond to that particular marina. It has a very ...

Re: Where's my windless solenoid?
Hello 7421f , Sounds like you are on the right path. Trace the main conductor power source from your batteries, panel or dedicated circuit breaker to the windlass. Some of the boats "and code dedicates" that it should have a over-current fuse or circuit breaker very close to the power sour...

Re: 2016 Cheasapeke bay rendevouis Poll
Herring-ton Harbor South would be a decent Compromise for all parties. It is a really cool marina with a huge pool, tiki bar and plenty of space for cocktail hour. I am sure they have a few grills for a cook out. Have not been there since 2010, this would give me a good excuse to go there. What do y...

Hello P-Dogg,
Can you please elaborate on your experience with your air conditioner? I know the cruise air split units are expensive and would like to hear what you want through.
Best Regards
Butch I.

Potable water pump for F32
All, My original Jabsco diaphragm pump finally gave up the ghost. Has anybody been successful with replacing it with a standard "cheaper 125.00" shur-flo, jabsco, 3-chamber diaphragm design type pump? I believe Trojan put the self-priming pumps in due to them having to pull suction from th...

Re: Back to the hollow keel!
Ahoy Jim, What I did 7 years ago was install a jabsco diaphragm bilge pump on the engine bulkhead. The pump has a suction line to a in-line strainer that prevents foreign debris into the pump. The critical part of the job is locating the right area to drill the hole. this needs to be exactly between...

Re: Whats a F32 worth ( project boat)
Hey Paul,
Hope all is well. A 1979 F32 That is functional and no problems is $13,100-$14,900 (Buc Book ) Now subtract the engine cost, Fg repair and other problems to get the price.
Hope this helps
Thanks Butch

Re: F32 - '76 No windlass, No gen.
Hello Ken, I have the last 32 Trojan off of the production line. I had this confirmed with john from marine tech. I just got lucky with buying it that way. She has been a great boat with strong 350 crusaders. Put new stringers in her in 2007 winter and rebuilt the starboard engine. I would go with a...

Re: F32 - '76 No windlass, No gen.
Hello, I have the same boat down here in the cheseapeake Bay. We do have a windlass and I definetly think it is worth its weight in gold. As far as a generator, we do not have one but I just put in a 3000watt inverter. If you don not need to run AC/Heat a modified or pure wave inverter will run Tv, ...
