I have scans of my F-26 panel and boat wiring schematic. Mine is a 1975 model. I had posted it before but unfortunately it was wiped out by photo bucket. Shoot me a pm with your email and I'll send them to you

Re: F-26 steering assembly replacement
I replaced my steering rack back in 1996 with a teleflex no feedback system, model SS14715. I checked online and it is still available. It is mostly used for outboards, however it works really well on my F-26. I did have to modify my helm as the new unit (SS14715) was larger in diameter than the ori...

Re: Michigan Wheel DJX
Hi Paul,
You'll like it, I've been running one for several years, 14x10 with cup. I'm powered similar to Roger and can reach 5000 rpm at WOT. My old Dyna-jet would hit 5100rpm. The DJX seems to perform better through the whole rpm band, and can stay on plane at a lower rpm.

I'll be watching too. Just out of curiosity, was your original coring material plywood? Mine was cored with balsa until it reached the end of the non-skid near the fuel fill, then it switched over to a plywood core.

Hi Kevin
I am at Rivers End, it's a nice place. I came out a little over a week ago, I'm in front of the marina office under a blue top. I'll keep an eye out for you, stop by and say hello.

Re: Project "Tri Fly"
You're doing a great job! Keep plugging along. It took me close to two years to finish my repairs on my 26. The Tri-fly is much much larger, my hats off to you. Trust me, it'll be worth all of the work when you're done. Please keep the photos coming. What kind of paint did you use on your window fra...

Re: Thinking Out Loud
I could go on about the thing we saw that we liked and disliked however we did make a decision on what we wanted to do about the boat. We decided to pull the trigger on a few new projects on our F-26 and we'll see what happen a few years down the river. Look forward to seeing what new upgrades you'...

Re: Soft deck
I had the same experience as Ready123 with the deck on my F-26. What appeared to be a small area actually turned out much larger. I also ended up removing the top layer and digging everything out. You'll be much better off. Here's a link to my thread on the repair. http://www.trojanboats.net/wforum/...

Re: Prop Help: F27 Mercruiser 305
What rotation is your current prop? I switched rotation when I re-powered years ago. I still might have my old RH 14x10 nibral cupped dyna-jet prop laying around Prior to the repower my old 318 cruised around 17-18 knots at 3100 rpm and around 25 at 4000 rpm. That is the Diameter and pitch prop that...

Re: F-26 total production
Hi Bart, Welcome to the forum, and congratulations on your new boat. I'm not exactly sure how many were produced, Trojan ended production of the F-26 in 1983. They came back for a short time I believe in 1986 and 1987 as the F-27. They produced three different models, Open express, Hardtop express a...

Safety Reminder (Fuel Lines)
While performing maintenance, I came across this fuel line, which was located at the bottom of the fuel control cell on my 5.7MPI Crusader. It's in a location that is not easily accessible. (The hose clamps were removed when I took the bottom photo) I had absolutely no odor of fuel in the boat Just ...

Re: New guy looking to buy a F-26
The forward hatch area has some marginal flex to it and will need replacing at some point. I've looked into this repair and its not a big deal(skill saw set to right depth/replace core/epoxy resin/sandwich). I just completed a major deck repair on my 75 F-26. If you really want to see how the deck ...
