I don't know what the big deal was, a little paint, couple of wires
Nice job! Kind wish you went right on 95 so I could see it in person but I'll do that next time I'm down that way. I have to take my arch off this fall, I can't take the brown streaks from the wet plywood anymore. I'll hit you up for some of those pics when it's time.
Have to add my congratulations. I am not an I-boat guy, but your personal story, perseverance, and (hate to admit it) absolutely mind-blowing f'n incredible skills that pulled this all together (not just saying you made it work, but YOU DID IT RIGHT!!!)... This is one of the most awesome rebuilds or rebuild results I have ever seen. This is one of the most awesome boats I have ever seen [sidebar - been at this for 40 years]. Kudos. Todd - AWESOME!!!
Now ... keep it one step at a time ... Get those engines running, nurse them until you are sure, and then show us the pics of you doing 30 knots with a grin running from ear to ear!!! THAT'S what being a Trojan boat owner (or maybe TBOOTY) is about.
Congrats. I've never taken on a project of that scale. Obviously a lesser man would have failed. Here's to many many years of enjoyment (on the water). Have fun now!

Holy crap! Have "fair to Midland" cell coverage at the slip and just logged on to say "happy 4th" and saw the numerous supportive text from you guys (didn't get the typical text). Wow thanks everyone! It's 744 on the 4th and I decided to take a break from working on her. She's still floating! I found out I hooked up the hynautic steering up backwards when I found finally got the engines tuned and timed yesterday and headed to the gas dock with my family and turned left but went right!!
Hate to brag but apparently I still got it because we laid her in to a crowded gas dock with just the shifters with no issues then slowly went to the other side of the river so the kids could finally swim and dad could switch out the steering hoses! (Can't believe my dumbass didn't catch that!)
Have a bunch of noise from the port tranny. Hopefully it is just an engine alignment. Will post some "in water" pics when we get home. The ice blue hull actually looks blue in the daylight! I'm happy with it!
Happy 4th everyone! I can't thank you enough for all the support!
