Re: Trojan f32
No mention of stringer problems ? Having been thru what you are thinking of doing STOP. Unless you want to throw LOTS of money, time, may be a divorce. Find a better F-32. Had my F-32 22 years. Sold it last august. I miss it. But after 22 years I still would not change a thing. Keep looking.

Re: LM360 Engine Removal
On my 81 F-32 the 318'' came thru the door. Remove the dipstick. Put duct tape on the door frame and on both exhaust manifolds. Removed the sliding door stops so the door opens fully. Or you could remove one manifold.

Re: 10 meter mid cabin fuel starve
No one has mentioned what is used for a fuel pump. Do a pressure and volume test on the pump at the carb. Generator has a separate pick up from the tank on my 81 F-32. When I removed the fuel pickup from the main tank there was 6" of copper pipe then a 20" fuel line hose to the bottom of t...

Re: 11 meter dinette
On my 81 F-32 the dinette table had to be lowered (leg collapsed) to remove it from the bracket. Not up.

Re: Acceptable amount of steam from exhaust
On my 81 F-32 (318 raw water cooled) I had a steaming issue when on plane for 5 years. Did everything I could, One day I noticed that the water pump pulley was a little closer to the pump housing itself. The front seal of the pump was sucking air. Replaced the pump and the problem was cured. Still h...

Re: F32 V berth storage
Never had drawers just a single door large enough to fit a 24 of drinks. Usually I lifted the plywood to access the area. Used a prop to hold the plywood up.

Re: F32 V berth storage
On my 1981 F-32 The vacuflush system was removed from the V-berth location. This opened up the whole storage area. No drawers. Used the left side for drink storage. Kept the drinks cool. Stored extra blankets and pillows in space bags in the V part. Right side was for the vacuum and attachments. Unu...

Re: LM 318 Ignition System Identification
When did Chrysler switch over to electronic ignition? On my 74 318 it had points. Maybe someone swapped out the distributor or the complete engine? The distributor cap has the screws where my 81 318 has screw down clips. If the distributor was swapped out possibly the centrifugal advance springs are...

Re: Engine issue
OK heres what I did when I put a gallon of water in the gas tank. Did not run engine. Removed the fuel gauge sender unit. Bought some fuel water paste from a auto store. Gas stations use this paste when they dip there under ground tanks.Applied the paste to a thin stick and dipped it in the fuel tan...

Re: Engine issue
Start with the anti-siphon valve. You are going to have to check it at some point. It is the first thing in the fuel line to clog up.Then check the fuel filters and replace them since the filters are off. Hopefully you carry spares. There is a flexible fuel hose between the fuel line and the fuel pu...
