Halogen to LED

The boat is a 2000 Trojan 400 Express with 12 original Hera ER 1 Halogen recessed lighting throughout the cabin. I want to replace the lights with LED's but I've searched for the transformer, behind the electrical panel, behind cupboard panels, lower storage area but no results. Any suggestions where I can look for the lighting transformer?

Not sure if it even has one . Have you checked with carver ?

I should have said 'regulator' instead of transformer, which wouldn't be necessary. It may not use a regulator either. I'll check with Carver, thanks.

My carver 405 has the same hera halogens. There is no transformer or regulator they are wired to 12v circuit I'm pretty sure yours is too. I replaced all mine with leds If the fixtures are in good shape just replace the bulbs with something like this ive had these installed about 3yrs now for $2.88 a fixture just plug them in. Bulbs have a wide dc spec so they will handle various dc voltages no problem.
