"From Kalamazoo to Key West at 45 m.p.h"
The last three photo are of the first F-24. John Leeds is driving the F-24 wood mold plug. John was a engineer at Trojan till the very last days in the fall of 1992.
The wood plug is what the fiberglass mold is made from. The mold is then used to make the fiberglass hulls for all the future F-24's
This is the first and only time Trojan drove a plug for any Trojan boats.
Picture is from 1972
The F-24 was a IO or I/B boat with a Mercruiser 188, 233 I/B direct drive was the only I/B option.
The Magazine Ad is from 1973 first photo

Matt Hooper's boat(?) (suppose Jaws boat could have been a Pacemaker.)
Believe I saw one (a Trojan) about 10 years ago visiting Cooperstown, NY (Otsego L.). Wish I had found the owner and bought it, or at least kept in touch. (My wife considers that stalking, and to be frowned on....)
