I need to remove my thru hull, re-seal and re-install. The thru hull I/D appears to be threaded. Do I leave the sea cock bolted in and use a bolt to unscrew the thru hull from sea cock? What would be the correct size bolt and I would imagine it would need to have left hand threads. It is a 78 F-32.
Thanks
Tony

Re: Thru Hull
I will be at boat this weekend and will get a photo then. The logic behind a left thread is as you screw it into the bottom of thru hull counterclockwise it tightens and when it bottoms out the thru hull spins off sea cock.
