Im considering living aboard my 11 meter express.I live in Ca so weathers not a problem. My kids are grown and Im single so I dont need alot of room.Any advice would be helpful.
Back in the 80's, I lived aboard a 43' Nautiline for just over 8 years. My children were living with their mom, so I only had them with me on the weekends. In Maryland, we had a couple of tough winters I had to make it though back then, but loved the overall experience. If I had one complaint .... it would be that the longer I lived aboard, the more it became a home and the less it was a boat. I set up fish tanks and had a couple dogs .... it soon became an arc ....and I lost the ability to take her out. I missed having an actual boat I could take out and enjoy.
I'd love to give it another go when I retire ...probably just dreaming. Good luck, I'm sure you'll maqke out just fine.

lance, it would depend on how much ''personal stuff'' you have. dad had a shore storage facility near the boat when he had the tri cabin in san diego so that is an option too.......... hey will, have you been able to check on your f32 at essex? just wondering how she is doing. phil and i are at event horizon almost everyday just to see what shes up to.

Aaron .... I did a driveby over the weekend. I swung by both sunset harbor and essex marina. There wasn't much activity going on. With the drop in temp., I'm sure this week will even have less. What are you doing for heat at event horizon.
I'm sorry Lance .... wasn't planning on taking over your thread.
