Hi,
I need to pickup a replacement impeller for a 1976 318. I'm out of town so I am not able to go down to the boat to check which pump is on the boat but I'd like the part to be there when I get back. Does anyone have any idea which pump it is? I'm told a sherwood but I am finding two pumps referenced around that time.
If anyone can let me know or if you have a link to the replacement kit that would be great.

My 1971 raw water cooled Chrysler 318 has a dual pocket Sherwood pump that is driven by the engine belt. The replacement part number for the impellers is 09959K-SHW ( www.boatersland.com/she09959k.html ). Since it is a dual pocket pump, I need to order two 09959K-SHW kits.

my 77 and 78 had single pocket Sherwood G5s G6 and G7 are the same, I am not user of part number but are readily available.
