What am I seeing?
New boat to me. I have ordered the manual for it. 1986 Trojan 10 meter express. But until I get it would appreciate some help. The attached picture is the area forward of the starboard engine. On the far side is a large white tube like structure, something like a muffler, but I am sure it isn't a muffler. What is it. Now in front of it is some sort of pump. What is that? Than down below another system with a red valve handle. ????. To the left side of the picture, bottom lower corner of the picture are two white hoses leading to some sort of mechanism. Thank

That's part of your Vacuflush system . The muffler looking thing is the Vacuum tank I believe . One pump motor looks like the motor has a rust hole in it .

Re: What am I seeing?
Does the vac flush dump overboard or into a holding tank. I believe the tank along the center line is a holding tank. Attached picture. Motor on top is disconnected. One large hose and one smaller
connect. Is one from toilet and the other from shower etc?? Or is one of them the pump out connection? Old description indicated "directly overboard", but looks like now there is a holding tank. I will just have to figure out the system. Rust hole is possible, since many of the systems have been neglected.-

Also believe holding tank is full. When you flush toilet, by pushing down on the side lever, there is water right up to the trap door at the bottom of the toilet bowl and nothing happens. Like a vac, flush. Is it possible tank not full, just vac. flush not working and water trapped accordingly??

That pump looks like a water pump . That tank is waste not shower/gray water . waste should not go over board . As far as not flushing the tank could be full and or the vac pump is not working .
