1976 F-32 Sedan - Exhaust Pipe Routing
I'm starting to wonder if the exhaust pipes are in the right position. The hangers that appear to have been used by the bulkhead under the sliding doors were not connected due to the bulkhead rotting out. Now that I have rebuilt the bulkhead how do I know if I put the exhaust pipe at the right height? Right now it seems like it slopes down from the exhaust manifolds then seems to slope on an incline towards the thru transom exhaust fitting. Is this OK? Should it have a gradual declining slope from engine to thru hull fitting? If anyone knows the right location I would love to know. The metal pipe part was resting on the top of the cut out of the bulkhead. Boat ran great but I want to be sure and put it the right location before I close up the cockpit for good and loose easy access.

I does not look right , it looks like it goes down hill right away then goes up hill to the transom , There should be no up hill .
update
Looking at your other photos the exhaust looked a little higher through the bulk head but that could be a illusion and if its down hill all the way then your fine .

That's about where I'm at Prowlerfish. So I need to raise it so its all on a down hill slope. That's what I have read but just thought I would check with other owners on here... Thanks...

That is definitely wrong. Both sides from the risers go together and then down all the way to the transom. Probably fell down like you said.
