Amazon Festoon LED’s

Anyone have an idea about the variety of festoon LED’s on Amazon? How do they compare in brightness and quality to Dr LED from West Marine? It seems too good to be true, but the West Marine bulbs are like $16-26 for the same bulbs that are like $5 on Amazon.

With so many choices on Amazon , some will not be as as good others just as good . The proplem with a lot of LED bulbs they tend to be directional .So that could be a issue on nav lights . You may not get full lighting on the full arc of the light . I looked a a few on Amazon and only one festoon LED looked to have a full arc .

I pulled the trigger on a 4-pack for $9. Beats taking my chances on a single $20 bulb at West Marine. Of course, the seller said they are the brightest LED bulbs on the market .

These are going into the overhead cabin/dome lights, so they point down anyway, and the lens diffuses it too.

I’ll post my results here. I have the West Marine bulbs on one side, these will finish out the cabin. Maybe I can get a photo of them together....

I feel sorry for anyone who has to buy anything at West Marine. Recently visited one I Florida near my winter residence. For $6+ I could buy something I can buy in Canada for $2.19. Might be why West Marine left Canada.

They look just like the Mr LED bulbs from West Marine....just as bright....but a hell of a lot cheaper. I'm happy.

I can't compare them to others on Amazon....there's soooooo many. But these look pretty good.

Price Matching doesn't help me much...Amazon delivers for free and these were like 1/10th the price of WM.

I have had one in my stern light as well as the same brand for the shower overhead for 3 years, they are super bright and have lasted well.

I will post a couple of photos comparing them to the one fixture with Dr LED's from WM. I didn't even think about it this morning when I put them in.

They are really bright.
