Hello all, first time poster but long time listener!
I have a 1977 F36 and was doing some digging into a washdown pump I have when I stumbled on my shore power connection receptacles behind a panel on the starboard side of my cockpit. They look very worn and cracking (see the picture). They are 2 30 amp cords that go to my AC/Genset panel.
Any help on where to find replacements (do I need something specific?), and what it might look like on the other side of these AC wires at the panel? What does a replacement procedure look like? I'm still a novice when it comes to electrical, especially AC... any help or guidance appreciated. "Call an electrician" is an appropriate response (I've got a great mechanic here but attempting to do the easier stuff on my own).
Thanks all!

I use Marinco 303SSEL-B if they are in fact 30 amp locking like I think.

Re: Shore Power connection cables
I upgraded to smartplugs. Inspect the existing cable sheathing for cracks or brittleness, and the conductors for corrosion. If you run new wires, use the old wires as ur fish tape to pull the new wires into place. And i would add strain relief to the cabling regardless. In a house, which doesnt exactly vibrate, code is cable clamp within 6 inches of the device. In this case, ur receptacles.

At the panel, its different than a house. Neutral and ground are NOT tied together on the boat panel. That said, even if ur not an electrician, id call this a DIY project. Just read the directions carefully for whatever receptacles you get. Take pictures of anything you will remove. While the power is off, might as well make sure all the screw connections in the panel are tight. Every breaker. Every ground. Every neutral connection. And i recommend nigel calders boat owners mechanical and electrical handbook. No boat should be without it.

I needed a less expensive hobby, so I bought a boat!

Had the same setup. Moved everything to Starboard out side.

Did not require anything more than the thru side connection, about $30 each for shore power and cable. nothing for water.
