'72 trojan houseboat crew quarters, standing water

Hey all, new to forums. Recently moved aboard my trojan houseboat, and have standing water (that does eventually drain out) in the crew quarters. Ive been in for three very rainy days, but have not been able to find a source or leak. I realize its not a popular or common boat, but i do want to have the floor dry for company to actually sleep in the berths. The previous owner had cut a square of the fiberglass floor out, but it doesnt seem to allow access to anything of note. Hopefully someone else has encountered this?

Is the space below the the floor filling with water ?

Yes, that does seem to be the case... there was an ich of water when i launched it this week, and it dried up or emptied overnight. The past few days were very rainy and now theres about three inches of flooding. I will be living aboard here in minnesota on the mississippi all year, so with winter coming im not sure how to rectify this.

It’s usually one of the following:

Any thru hull fitting where the bedding material has decayed.

Packings in either your shafts or rudders are dripping excessively and need to be adjusted or changed.

Air conditioning has a leak or excess drainage into the bilge.

Best thing is to make a plan to check from bow to stern every system to narrow down your water intrusion issue.

This above and look at engine hatchs and find and check and as needed fix your bilge pumps you need at least 2one at the bow and one at the stern ad them if they are not there
