hello, I am purchasing a Tri Cabin, always liked them, I believe this boat to be very well taken care of, seems to be in what I would call excellent condition,
it has small block crusaders with approx 600 hours and v drive,
generator
and two a/c
I will send pics asap
just saying hello,
glad to be here
any problem areas on the boat I should be looking into besides the obvious?

Welcome and congrats . Just to let you know you do not have a V-Drive . You do have a inline velvet dive transmission . The last year of the V-Dives in the Tri was 77 or 78 .

Well, I do admire your choice of boat. Where are you located?
I needed a less expensive hobby, so I bought a boat!

The 87 Tri Cabin is the best of the best! First and last year for the new interior design.
Pretty rare to find one these days.
