In the Sacramento Delta I pay about $208/mo depending on electrical use, never more than $210/mo. That's year around with my F30 in a covered 40 foot berth with unobstructed water view from the stern and 2 minutes from fast water.......after reading previous posts, sounds like a good deal.

Open moorage on the Columbia River, which seperates Oregon and Washington,... Ilwaco, Wa. just inside the mouth of the Columbia River, I pay $500. per year plus electricity. At the Longview yacht club 65 mi. up river, I pay 75 cents per ft. per month for my 36ft open slip which comes to $324 per year plus $200 annual dues, $200 annual maintainance fee which can be worked off @ $50 per 4 hr work party one saturday a month,... and don't forget the one time initiation fee of $200, Oh, and a one time assesment fee of $400 for major damage control,... Total.. $800 down and $340. per month plus elect, after being voted in..... Port of Kalama Wa. 10 mi. up stream toward Portland Or. $118 for 30ft and $137. for a 35ft slip.. with a waiting list. And there are a lot of other marinas up and down the Columbia river from Portland Or. to Ilwaco, Wa. including Astoria. Or. and Warrenton Or. and many small ones in between that have moorage available and are two to four hours south of Seattle. Look at your chart plotter and check out the northwest coast waters, it's interesting and not near as crowded as the east coast.

Here at Bay Point at Little Creek, Norfolk, VA I pay $8.50/Foot per month. That includes water and 100 kilowatts of power per month, over that and you get an electricity bill. That comes out to $221/month for my 26 foot Trojan. Unfortunately one company is has bought up 3 of the marinas in Little Creek so it's starting to be a monopoly. I forsee the rates going up and up in years to come.

I'm shopping rates right now and if I can get under $100/ft Apr-Oct I'll be lucky. I did find a tidal slip for $50/ft. I don't know if I want to go that way but I may have to.

my dad paid 18K a year for his slip for his f36 tri cabin in oceanside, ca, but he was grandfathered into the rate when he relocated BUBALA 3 there in 1996. i pay around 1900.00 per year in middle river, baltimore, county, md. for my f32 but it is done by slip size, not vessel size. i find it odd that the 'only avail. slip for my f32 was a 40'X16'. she is 32+2(swim platform)X13.

hi will, parkside charges me 400.00 for in the water winter storage. marina includes a bubbler system. electricity while plugged in will be billed to slip holders in april at the start of the season. winter storage is from 01 nov to 01 april. not sure what the electrical bill will be, but, i am only use using it to run the battery charger and the electric cabin heat once i am on the boat only. the most it has run is two hours every 4 days. parkside has 160 slips, winter storage is limited to half of that because they move boats around to maximize the use of the bubbler system.
is mike at essex marina doing the bottom paint for you or are you doing it? he has not gotten back to me on the seacock replacement yet, but, i think phil and i are going to paint the bottom ourselves in june or july when we get the seacocks replaced.
hope this is helpful to ya. if you have any more questions, feel free to ask.
i get back to baltimore late tomorrow evening after flying 5 legs and away for 3 days...... ill be glad to see the dog and the boat when i get home. oh, and phil too....

We live in Wisconsin and dock our Trojan in Kewaunee on Lake Michigan. Kewaunee is about 20 miles from Green Bay. We pay $1750 for the season for basic amentities and no pool. In addition to summer storage we pay $1500 for winter storage. Norht of us in Sturgeon Bay slips run $2200 and that includes a pool but it takes 1/2 hour to get out to the lake to salmon fish. (wish we had covered slips)

17,000.00 less?

Would love to be down that way but have many ties to CB and it's much closer to my home. It's already a 2 hour drive as it is! (every weekend)
